I've been a long time harsh critic of the Scala IDE for Eclipse. I've used various incarnations of it over the last nearly 5 years.
Iulian Dragos of EPFL and TypeSafe is the lead developer for the Scala IDE for Eclipse. At the Scala Lift Off London 2011, Iulian will be demonstrating version 2.0 of the Scala IDE for Eclipse.
It would make me wildly happy for Iulian to make a total fool of me by demonstrating a powerful, capable Scala IDE... so come to the Scala Lift Off and watch Iulian's presentation... and if the audience asks, I'll eat my hat.
